Mr Huah Teng Lin graduated from Anglican High School in 1967
and graduated from Nayang University in 1971 with Bachelor of Art
(Geography).
After graduation, he joined the National Service and held the rank of
Lieutenant as Company 2IC. From 1992-1998, he was the Zone Commander of
Singapore Civil Defense Force.

joined the National Trade Union Congress as Senior Industrial Relations
Officer, working in the National Trade Union Congress and the two major
affiliated unions, namely, Pioneer Industries Employees' Union (PIEU)and
Singapore Industrial Labour Organisation (SILO) for more than eight years.

Manufacturing Operators, Cleaner, Transport & Delivery workers,
Hair-dresser & Beauty Saloon worker, Motor Car repairer, Agriculture
& Plantation workers, Restaurant Chef and waitress, Hotel Cleaner,
Wholesales and Trading Sales Representatives, Hospital, Nursing Home,
Nursing Aides, Health Attendants, Foreign Domestic Workers (Maids), Cooks,
Seamen, Fisher Men, Factory Workers, Drivers, Harbour Crave Crew,
Plantation and others. He emphasized on the main selection criteria, i.e.
honesty, reliability, diligence, and well-trained workers.
